To mark Data Protection Day, UNIL’s Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration organized a conference on “Freedom of choice in the digital age”, in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, the University of Geneva’s Centre universitaire d’informatique and ThinkServices.
Particular emphasis was placed on consent to the processing of medical data.
At the end of the conference, Me Anne Dorthe chaired a round-table discussion with the speakers and led the audience in a lively debate. This round table brought together Mrs Henguely (PFPDT), Prof. Clavien (UNIGE), Prof. Erard (UNIL), Mr. Page.
Me Dorthe would like to thank the organizing committee for this event: Prof. Weerts, Prof. Métille, Prof. Morin and Dr. Walter.
