Contribution by Me Anne Dorthe and Me Elodie Le Guen at the WEKA Employment Law Day

As part of the WEKA Employment Law Day, Ms Anne Dorthe and Ms Elodie Le Guen presented on “AI and Employment Law: Selected Issues.”

Their presentation addressed a number of current legal issues arising from the growing use of artificial intelligence in employment relationships, particularly in the areas of recruitment, performance assessment, employee monitoring, and decision-support tools in personnel management.

Drawing on practical scenarios, they highlighted the key legal considerations associated with the use of such tools, notably in relation to employment law, data protection, transparency, proportionality, and human oversight.

Their contribution also provided an opportunity to underscore the need for a clear legal framework and for careful consideration of the conditions under which these technologies may be integrated into the workplace, while safeguarding employees’ rights and ensuring that employers discharge their responsibilities appropriately.

Reymond & Associés is pleased to contribute to the ongoing reflection on these contemporary issues, at the intersection of law, innovation, and professional practice.
