He was admitted to the bar in 2025, after completing his internship at a leading Swiss law firm and in court. Previously, Vincent Cottier worked at the State Secretariat for International Finance.
He holds a bachelor's degree in international relations (with a minor in law) from the University of Geneva and a bilingual master's degree in law from the Universities of Geneva and Basel (magna cum laude). During his studies, he worked as a research assistant in white collar crime at the University of Geneva.
Vincent Cottier advises and defends clients in matters relating to commercial and contracts law, unfair competition, criminal law, data protection law, and intellectual property law. He also has experience in international sanctions, anti-money laundering policies, and export controls.
