Conference given by Me Anne Dorthe at the Cantonal Parliament (Vaud)

On 4 June 2026, Me Anne Dorthe had the honour of speaking alongside Ms Jennifer Dal Gobbo, legal counsel at the Health Council, as part of a session dedicated to the topic “Legal framework, official secrecy, medical secrecy and data protection” at the Annual Day of the Vaud Network for Combating Domestic Violence.

The event was held at the Cantonal Parliament (Vaud) in Lausanne and brought together more than 250 professionals from the network to discuss issues relating to the identification, assessment and prevention of high-risk situations.

These matters play an essential role in the prevention of domestic violence. They determine the conditions under which sensitive information may be shared between professionals, while ensuring compliance with the requirements of confidentiality, proportionality and the protection of fundamental rights.

This lecture forms part of a broader reflection on the role of the law in protecting victims, fostering interinstitutional coordination and preventing serious harm to the integrity of the persons concerned.
